CELEBRATING BARB STOLZ

Work well done over such a long period of time is worth celebrating.  And a belated Happy 90th to you Barb๐Ÿ’“๐Ÿ’“

Irene setting the scene

Steve loves to shuffle with and against Barb (who doesn't)

Keith shares his 1st memories at the courts with Barb. "Get in the kitchen, get in the kitchen, nice shot !"

Rene remembers 1998/99 when the Park 1st opened. Barb was already involved with shuffleboard. She also continued with bowling pin shuffleboard.

Gerald delivers the gift. Everyone has contributed some of their hard earned pension toward this surprise!

Irene shares some info about Canadian cartoonist Vance Rodewalt who was hired to do this caricature of Barb

'' I like it, I like it!"

Laughter really is the best medicine (at Barb's expense of course!)

Claude and Joanne admiring how the cartoonist truely captured our "Queen"

Steve escorts our "Queen" to the pizza lunch table

Thank you to Lucas for agreeing to be the official photographer

VALENTINE'S DAY 2020

A "SEA OF RED" at the courts on February 14th and what a beautiful day in Arizona!

Barb keeping a watch on the sign-in book as all the courts have been filled lately

Mr. "Turn Coat" himself looking daper indeed

And who belongs to this signature footwear?
The Plaid Twins

And the boyz strutting their stuff
Robin wins the prize for being the 1st one at the courts today
Best dressed woman, Nancy and Best dressed man, Rene
Barb was the only one wearing a back pack today to shuffle although Mr Black was a close 2nd
The farthest away...Ottawa, Ontario Canada, the nation's capital city
Highest individual score goes to Gerald, and look at all the RED
Lowest individual score....probably because you did not wear red???

Cancer Awareness Tournament 2020

January 30 & 31st were the days for our tournament.  32 players battling for the coveted medals. The weather was cooperative and everyone had some serious fun!
Beauties worth competing for today. Let the Games begin!
Thanks to Kathy, Pat and their team for the awesome decorations

And Keith found this appropriate shirt after scouring through all the Good Will Stores.
The "draw" team: Rene, Dawn & Marsha

The competition is fierce. Can you tell by the facial expressions?

This final score had nothing to do with the wax on the courts (tongue in cheek)
