Wow, an excellent competition to end a very successful enjoyable year on the courts. The atmosphere was electric. There were 12 full courts. Fortunately 9 Americans stepped up to the plate to fill in for the lack of Canadian players... "token" Canadians for only 3 hours and they were quite an asset! The scene was set and the weather cooperated. Irene Hall was certainly prepared!

Keith Williams did an outstanding job with the event using his knowledge of the Ryder Cup in the golf world.
