FIRST ANNUAL CAN/AM FRIENDSHIP TOURNAMENT MARCH 20, 2019

Wow, an excellent competition to end a very successful enjoyable year on the courts. The atmosphere was electric. There were 12 full courts. Fortunately 9 Americans stepped up to the plate to fill in for the lack of Canadian players... "token" Canadians for only 3 hours and they were quite an asset! The scene was set and the weather cooperated. Irene Hall was certainly prepared!

Keith Williams did an outstanding job with the event using his knowledge of the Ryder Cup in the golf world.

AND THEN THERE WERE THE PRESENTATIONS

These two teams (played against one another in the Bowling Pin round), won highest combined score.

USA captains accept the Friendship trophy after winning the tiebreaker. Congratulations!

Keith thanks Charla and her husband for creating and making our Friendship Trophy.

Thank you Scott for being a Canadian for the Tournament

And thank you Steve for also being a Canadian for the Tournament. It's ok to drink the Bud though!

Our last pizza lunch for the season followed. Little Caesar's does make great pizza, so they tell me, and they give Palm Creek 10% off too!

BOWLING PIN SHUFFLEBOARD

A beautiful morning to break the tie between the Black & Yellow teams. Teams of six are up for the challenge.
Barb not to be deterred by Jay's interference

All 8 pucks in play and only one counting!

Barb dividing the monies. She does this so well. Probably because she has been doing it since 1999!

And the YELLOW TEAM wins. ($5.00 each!)
